Kick-Off Meeting successfully held at Bursa Innovation Centre
The Erasmus+ Project officially launched with a productive two-day kick-off meeting at Bursa Innovation Centre, bringing together our five partner organizations from four countries. The meeting set the stage for this innovative collaboration, aiming to create an e-learning platform for students aged 9–14.
Day 1: Planning, Finance, and Collaboration
The first day began with a warm welcome, fostering a friendly and collaborative atmosphere. An engaging icebreaker activity helped us connect before diving into the agenda.
Bursa Innovation Centre delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the project program, including key milestones, task assignments, and performance indicators. The clarity and detail ensured we were all aligned with the project objectives and expectations.
Next, a session on financial management took place, where the financial plan was presented, followed by a Q&A session. This ensured all partners felt confident in navigating the project’s financial aspects.
After lunch, the focus shifted to understanding the needs and expectations of the target audience and stakeholders for the e-learning platform. We collaborated in a dynamic focus group session using the station method, making the process both engaging and effective. Together, we designed three tailored questionnaires for:
- Students
- Teachers
- Subject matter and LMS experts
This approach ensured diverse perspectives were considered, laying the foundation for a user-focused platform.
Day 2: Building the E-Learning Platform
The second day was dedicated to structuring the e-learning platform. All partners worked collaboratively on defining module titles and subtitles, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging curriculum.
Lunch provided an opportunity to introduce Turkish cuisine, further strengthening rapport among the international team. The day concluded with a certificate ceremony to honor everyone’s efforts and contributions.
Exploring Bursa
To cap off the meeting, we enjoyed a city tour of Bursa, immersing ourselves in its rich culture and history.
The two-day event not only achieved significant progress in project planning and design but also fostered strong international partnerships. This Erasmus+ initiative promises to deliver a cutting-edge e-learning platform, empowering students and educators across Europe.
Stay tuned as this inspiring project continues to unfold!
