GreenAgripreneurs Interim Meeting held in Brussels

The Erasmus+ project Green Agripreneurs of the Future reached a significant milestone with its interim meeting, held on October 9–10, 2024, in Brussels. Hosted by CERA, the meeting took place at the TOPOS Parlement venue and brought together all project partners for two days of collaborative progress and strategic planning.

Day 1: Progress Check and Scenario Building

The first day began with a warm-up session, setting a positive and engaging tone for the discussions ahead. We reviewed the project’s GANTT chart together, assessing completed milestones, identifying areas requiring attention, and aligning on the next steps.

After a refreshing lunch break, we visited the European Parliament building for inspiration and to reinforce the significance of our project’s goals in the context of broader European initiatives.

As the project’s coordinating organization, the Bursa Provincial Directorate of National Education presented an example of e-learning content, showcasing the scenario logic for the platform. We then divided into three groups to collaboratively develop scenarios, which were later presented to all partners. This collaborative effort sparked creativity and set a clear direction for the development of the platform’s interactive content.

The day concluded with a delightful dinner organized by CERA, providing an excellent opportunity for informal networking and cultural exchange.

Day 2: STEM, Sustainability, and Quality Management

The second day focused on enriching the educational aspects of the project. School partners shared STEM activity presentations, offering valuable insights for future challenges and activities planned for students.

CERA delivered a compelling presentation on sustainability, the climate’s impact on agriculture, and the importance of climate education, underscoring the project’s core mission. GRIAL followed with an essential presentation on quality management, ensuring that we maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle.

The meeting concluded with a short questionnaire to gather feedback and ideas, followed by a certificate ceremony organized by CERA to recognize the contributions of all participants.

Looking Ahead

All partners left the meeting feeling inspired and aligned on the project’s goals, particularly the development of the e-learning platform, student-focused challenges such as ideathons and STEM activities, and strategies for fostering green entrepreneurship.

The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated during the interim meeting reaffirm the project’s potential to equip the next generation of agripreneurs with the knowledge and skills to address environmental challenges.

Stay tuned for further updates as the Green Agripreneurs of the Future project continues to grow!
